Marge Gamer - 4/22 Episode Discussion

From The Simpsons Archive

Marge Gamer
Episode #JABF10

Marge decides to see what all the fuss about the Internet is about, and soon joins an online role-playing game that includes pretty much everybody else in Springfield, including the game's best player - Bart; when Lisa's soccer game is about to be cancelled because there's no referee, Homer volunteers.

Wow, had no idea there was going to be a new episode this Sunday.

Sounds like a good one.

So we have another Marge-centric episode.

I liked the scene where Lisa mentions Bend It Like Beckham, and she has the flashback of watching the movie in the theater.

What was up with Milhouse?!? Why would ANYONE put a spell to change you into a girl?

I really liked last night`s episode. It was an excellent Marge centric episode. I think the role playing game was a great activity for her and Bart to do together. Of course it was obviously very funny with Bart being the knight that kills people. Also i love Homer as a referee at Lisa`s soccer game. The whole deal with Lisa flopping was very funny, especially when Homer wasn`t calling them at first. It`s funny because it`s so true. Plus i really liked when Homer gave Lisa a red card. In all it was another outstanding episode.

Great episode, I really enjoyed it. It was great seeing Marge become so addicted to the role playing game Plus it was a great way for Marge and Bart to spend time together. It was hilarious when the dark knight was Bart

Also loved the Homer/Lisa scenes, it was great to see that she was just flopping and loved when she got mad at Homer for giving her the red card.

Oh man that dvd that Homer got Lisa about soccer was hilarious loved that after 22 years the people were still fighting and then the one about the Virgin Mary statue coming to life

Didn't Homer get the referee's uniform from Athlete's Foot or something similar?

That was hilarious the statue not only came to life but joined in the fighting.

I expected the statue to start crying and cause both sides to reconcile after the miracle...not the statue to get in on the fighting
