"Love is a Many Splintered Thing" - Episode Discussion

From The Simpsons Archive

Love is a Many Splintered Thing
Episode RABF17

It looks like there's no love for the men on Valentine's Day in the Simpson family, especially for Bart, who can't seem to win Mary Spuckler's heart now that she has returned to Springfield.

I got the episode confused with next week's episode, so part of me thought Woody Allen was really Milhouse in disguise.

I thought this was a good episode, perhaps not the best from this season. I loved Mary's reference in her song to the problem Bart has finding the end of his hair/beginning of his forehead

It just reminded me of our discussion recently about the weirdness of their hair.

I was mildly disturbed that Mary was married and divorced by the ripe age of 13.
