I wonder if he doesn't try as hard, if he would get better results. Sort of not knowing what you got until it's gone. If Milhouse doesn't pay as much attention to Lisa, I'm sure she'll miss him.

That's true. It's why I liked the episode where Milhouse teaches Lisa Italian.
