The Haw-Hawked Couple - 2/18 (repeat) episode discussion
From The Simpsons Archive
The Haw-Hawked Couple Episode #JABF02 Bart becomes Nelson's best friend, and Nelson becomes Bart's bodyguard (after Bart organizes a boycott of Nelson's birthday party, only to end up being forced to go), but there is a price: Bart can no longer hang out with Milhouse. __________________

So, what did everyone think of the episode?
-Loved the Bart/Nelson moments it was great seeing them as friends -The beginning with Bart/Lisa arguing and going to tell Homer/Marge and H/M have a recorded tape of them fighting to they can have some alone time -Nelson being jealous of Bart's friendship with Milhouse -Oh man the Martin scene in the beginning -Loved the Homer/Lisa scenes we got, it was about time we had some dad/daughter moments. I just knew that Homer would get into the book (also loved the HP parody/reference to the book ) Loved that Homer didn't want Lisa to be heartbroken with the end of the book and made his own version of the ending -The end credits with Homer still sad over the death of Greystache __________________

I finally got to see the episode.
Nelson: I hate milk. It comes out of cow wangs. Ok, at the end of the episode, Bart is hugging the vest. Was that supposed to be a parody of Brokeback Mountain? __________________

I saw Brokeback Mountain last night, and I was reminded of the vest scene.
The rest of the movie didn't remind me of The Simpsons AT ALL. __________________

I guess I didn't pay attention much last time. It was hilarious that Homer had Greystache use his moustache powers in his version of the book.
