That's the issue I have with the newer episodes, but yes some of the newer ones have their moments.

Yeah I can understand that.

I kind of watch the episodes a little differently now though myself. Since I found this forum I've appreciated the more "shipper" and relationship moments on the show than I ever did before. So when Bart/Lisa or Homer/Lisa or something share scenes I love them no matter what and it makes the episode better.

& I'm so glad for that because I have a whole new appreciation for the show now. All the sweet relationship moments are great. And being that it's a cartoon I think they've done really well with that.
