favorite Simpsons video game
Out of all the Simpsons-themed video games -- arcade, pc, video game systems, etc., which one is your favorite?
Mine would be a toss up between Road Rage and Hit and Run. Both are easy to play, yet challenging enough that you don't get bored. I prefer the two-player mode in Road Rage. With Hit and Run, you race the other players on a track -- big. deal. With Road Rage, you can crash into your opponent and steal their passenger as you get to drive around Springfield. Even being the quasi gaming nerd that I am, I've barely played any of the games. Huh.

I've only ever played 'Bart's Nightmare' for SNES. I found the Maggie's temple level really hard.

I thought I mentioned The Simpsons Arcade available on iTunes, but apparently this isn't the thread Anyway, it went on sale for $0.99 recently, so I purchased it. It's ok, though I can't get past Chief Wiggum and his taser gun.

^ I was just updating the apps on my ipod last weekend and I actually saw that because it was #1 on the list of top apps. I considered getting it but I'm cheap and I usually only download the free ones. Maybe I'll reconsider it.
I've never played any Simpsons video games, but I used to have a CD-ROM game (back in the old days) which was more of an "interactive Springfield" type of thing than an actual game. It was pretty cool, but I remember it being kind of slow on my computer. __________________

I think the free one might be level or time limited, and the price went up to $4.99 for the full version.
I vaguely remember the interactive Springfield. __________________

Haha, I just realized there is a free version of the game, even though it was released back in April. It was pretty entertaining (I like how you slap Homer awake after he passes out) but I'll never get used to playing games on my ipod. i find it so hard to control everything on a touch screen.

They haven't come out with a Simpsons game recently. It seems like they've exhausted ideas with the family. I wouldn't mind seeing a game using the other minor characters.

The Simpsons: Bart's Nightmare (Nintendo Super NES)
One of my favorite games ever, not because it's that good of a game though. It's just one of the oldest and first games I ever played. Hit & Run, I thought was really cool. I liked being able to drive around the town and talk to all the characters and stuff. |

Was Hit and Run suppose to be like Crazy Taxi, or was that Road Rage? It's been a while since I've played either.
