I was thinking the same thing. But after watching the ep, it wasn't as offensive as I expected.
Otto: Lute solo! Otto rocks The pie with rats was gross, though the open mouth thing was kind of funny. I couldn't believe Homer's confession __________________

I thought it was funny how they had a Protestant heaven where they were playing croquet. But in Catholic heaven, it was a fiesta then they started Irish dancing __________________

This episode was so funny. And I loved the end.
And I enjoyed Liam Neeson's character. __________________

Some more really funny parts:
Homer to Bart- "Don't expect to lay on the couch all week and watch TV like a bum, that's my job." Grandpa hanging from the fire alarm, and Homer laughing at him "Oh classic Grandpa!" Homer- "No meat!? What do they eat? Lightbulbs?" __________________
