Can anyone explain panel 17 of the couch gag advent calendar to me?
 It shows Krusty's father the Rabbi and Old Jewish Man in a Sushi bar. I just don't get the joke, or cultural reference or what it is. Is this supposed to be some kind of Jewish stereotype or something? |

It's possible that they were referring to what type of restaurants are open on Christmas.

I can't remember the panel number of the Advent Calendar, but it was the one with Nelson. He had the Charlie Brown Christmas tree, including the single ornament.
