A family summer vacation trip to a cabin motel brings back memories of earlier trips from twenty years ago, when Homer and Marge were picked up by newlyweds Ned and Maude (who made them sleep in separate rooms), and five years ago, when they arrived with different partners.

I was able to see part of the episode but fell asleep in the middle of it. Is this another case of discontinuity? Did the Simpsons really know the Flanders for 20 years?

I don't know how they would know the Flanders in that time period.

According to the plot, they wouldn't have known them except for the fact that they picked Marge and Homer, who were hitching a ride.

In the scene where Ned is preventing Homer and Marge from sneaking into one another's rooms, he placed some small trap to catch her sneaking out. I can't remember exactly what it was. Then he goes to Homer's door and places a bear trap - huge compared to what Marge had. That was a funny scene.

Then I got creeped out by Maude wearing her dead grandmother's flannel nightgown/pjs.

I got a bit creeped out as well when Ned was turned on by Maude wearing her dead grandmothers pjs

I watched it. There were funny parts, but I wasn't sure what to think of the episode overall. I liked the cereal killer video game. I liked Bart and Lisa. I love little Bart and Lisa. They're so cute.

I was talking to my mother tonight, and she was shocked they made new episodes.

I'll try to try to think of more stuff.
