"To Cur With Love" - Episode Discussion
From The Simpsons Archive
To Cur With Love Episode RABF01 While everyone else is out helping Grampa pack so he can move in with the Simpsons after a fire at Springfield Retirement Castle, Homer is so busy playing "VillageVille" that he manages to lose Santa's Little Helper, which leads Grampa to tell the story of the puppy Homer had (and also lost) as a young boy. __________________

This was a great episode, though I was a bit confused, I'm sure we've seen Chief Wiggum & Krusty in other episodes where they were shown the same age as Marge & Homer. How on earth were they adults in this episode when Homer was 6? The strange ageing problem of Springfield just got stranger...

I wasn't able to watch the episode. All the major networks aired the Vigil in Newtown, CT.

The episode is going to re-air on Sunday at 8:30pm ET since some stations aired the Newtown vigil live instead.

The award they were going to present to the inventor...did it look like a naked Smithers holding the head of Burns, like he beheaded him?

I like how Abe said all his stories now have endings, after they put something in his Jello.

Grampa's stories answered a bunch of questions.
How did Lou and Clancy know each other? How did Wiggum decide to be a police chief? What was the origin of Ralph's name? __________________

Homer was playing Villageville as I was playing Tapped Out
The family was so worried about SLH missing, but Snowball was missing for 3 weeks! __________________

Interesting take on Burns' explanation of the fiscal cliff.
