I finally got around to watching it. I think Edna's plan to get rid of the teacher was brilliant! Also, it was nice to hear why she was bullying Lisa, at least it wasn't just because she was being mean (to some extent).
I was also surprised to see that Ned didn't just hit Homer once, but twice! __________________

I think the punching of Homer...twice...was inevitable. Ned has been patient with Homer all these years.
I wonder if Bart knew of Lisa's troubles with the teacher, would he take the initiative to make the teacher's life hell? Bart helped Lisa when she got Olympic pin crazy. Maybe they wouldn't need Edna's help. __________________

I took it that Bart hadn't heard about it until Edna intervened. I assumed that she got him involved and so he decided to stick up for Lisa. However, I wouldn't be at all surprised to hear that he took some kind of bribe from Edna.
