Yes, I'm really looking forward to this episode! I love a good mystery. Hopefully it doesn't disappoint!

Now it's established that Nelson is a few years older, since he was left back four years.

I really loved this episode. I love anything that has a mystery in it.

I also thought it was cool that marge, homer, bart, and lisa all had a different storyline with a key and at the end they all merged together.

& Lisa/Nelson scenes!

Okay, it was reeeally disturbing when Homer put Maggie's whole head in his mouth like that, but I thought the rest of it was brilliant.

Was this episode supposed to be a parody of something? I got kind of a Shutter Island vibe at the beginning, but of course it didn't turn out the same way at all. But then there was the Inception reference at the end. Maybe it was a mixture of Leo DiCaprio movies, although I didn't spot any others.

That was exactly why I enjoyed this episode so much. I feel like they did this more in the old days, and in recent years they've had a lot of B-plots and C-plots that are boring or random and never intersect with the A-plot so the whole episode is very disjointed. This one was great.

I loved the Lisa/Nelson part as well. "And the day before that...and the day before that...and the day before that..."

Snake was clever by crawling between the legs, since Chief Wiggum couldn't bend down to arrest him.

Add that to the million reasons why Chief Wiggum should really not be a police officer.

I understand the chalkboard gag now. Apparently, the previous guest star had her name misspelled in the credits. To make up for it, that's what Bart wrote on the chalkboard:

It's Kristen Schaal, not Kristen Schall.

^ Ah, that makes sense. It went by too quickly for me to catch the last part.

Also I forgot to mention how I love the idea of banned band books. And of course Lisa would geek out over that.

I wonder what would qualify as a banned band book.

Cletus and Brandine's latest child was still connected to her via the umbilical cord.
