I always wondered how Alex knew what Isabel was going to do (kiss him) cause I do't remember her saying in the library or his room that she wouldnt

You know what I like? The scene from Four Square when Isabel takes Alex in the janitors closet.

ALEX: Whoa, hey what is the emergency?

ISABEL: Alex, I�ve been thinking.

ALEX: Oh, this can�t be good.

ISABEL: You know how I said I wanted to take things slow?

ALEX: The word glacial comes to mind.

ISABEL: Maybe it�s time to melt the ice.

ALEX: Whoa, wh... what?

ISABEL: I�m ready. For a relationship, and I want it to be with you�not with anyone else I know.

ALEX: Well...there�s someone else?

ISABEL: No! No, absolutely not. Only you.

ALEX: Oh, well...you know...

I love that dialogue from the prom episode. As for why Isabel made the comment about doing something she said she wouldn't, I always figured it wasn't so much that she had promised not to kiss him, but more that Alex had made it clear that he didn't want to end up falling for her again (not that he ever really got over her), and he had earlier told her not to get any more "beguiling".

But Isabel took her chances and went on to kiss him anyway, and he definitely didn't seem to mind.

This is making me want to rewatch HoM again, and I am nowhere near up to that episode in my most recent Roswell rewatching.

Aww, I loved the A/I makeout scenes. They were a nice balance of hot and sweet.
