Trust is so hard for Isabel, so it means even more that she trusted Alex, right from that first dreamwalk. And while it took time, she eventually did let her guard down enough to really come to let him in and rely on him.

Okay, tried to post this earlier, but it doesn't seem to have worked.

It was comments on 4Square (an episode I actually like, mostly because the dreams didn't actually lead to anything other than making Michael and Isabel run to the people they really wanted to be with

).

Isabel and Alex in the supply closet are adorable - Isabel telling Alex what she had already decided, even before the dreams about Michael started - that she wanted to be with him, that she was ready now. And he's all gallant, talking about how important it is that they do it right and have romance, yet quite willing to go with it when Isabel just wants to skip ahead to the kissing part.

Alex really is such a sweetheart. Isabel realizes what she has there - she has such a happy smile on her face when he takes her home and says that's what boyfriends do.

And his whispered "You're beautiful, you know that?" - so perfect.

Oh, and Isabel's all worried, wanting to make sure that nothing bad happens to him, telling him to stay away from Tess.

Okay, lets's see if it posts this time..........

I really loved how Isabel smiled up at Alex when he made the "boyfriend" comment

and I guess no one would disagree about Alex tucking Isabel in being anything but cute

Then we got Max to the Max, which had more perfect Alex in it.

He tells Isabel that it comes down to love ("Does Michael love you?") and that he'll be there for her, no matter what. It doesn't matter to him that she may be pregnant with Michael's baby. Well, I'm sure he's not thrilled about it or anything, but ultimately, it doesn't change how he feels about her or that he wants to be with her. And most impressive of all, he points out that he knew going into things with her that it was likely there would be alien wierdness. He's not in denial - he knew that there would be complications and risks involved with being with Isabel. He thinks she's worth it.
