I loved "back from Sweden Alex". It showed that he took no bunk from Isabel, even if he did love her. Self respect is sexy.

So what if they *did* have scenes together. How would you imagine them?

Well, Isabel is his ideal, so I think it'd take some time for him to warm up to Ava, who's this girl that's street tough but has indeed feelings. Like in the Crashdown scene she's impartial to the scares Michael and Isabel try to pull on her, but warms up when Liz talks to her about loving Max.
I think they'd start off as friends with a growing sexual attraction. Something like that.

I think the Ava's toughness and Alex's natural sweetness would balance the other really well.

To be honest, I haven't seen many Ava scenes. I just remember "Meet the Dupes". And Ava didn't even have lines in that eppy.

Or rather, she had lines, but very few. And we never seen her interact with one of the Roswell group one on one. Except for Liz.
