Well this thread was slow because I was not here spreading my joy and laughter.

One Time at Summer Camp we made outdoor showers just using the following list of items...

1. empty milk jug
2. pantyhose
3. towels
4. rope
5. knife
6. extra empty milk jug

We cut holes in the bottom of one of the milk jugs and a big hole on the top so we could poor water in it. Then we used the rope to tie around trees and string the jug handle through it (so the jug was hanging up) we placed towels over the string. We placed Soap bars in the pantyhose and hung them from the ropes.

We used the extra jug to poor water into the jug with holes.

Wallaa! Running water goodness.

*sigh* I come home from a hellish day at work/school only to have my mom say that I "have no right to be tired.." and for her to yammer about all the crap she's done all day.

Sometimes parents are so annoying.

I understand I called my mother a "Queen" the other day and she started yelling and saying that she was more like Cinderella. She pisses me off because she acts like I have done nothing all day. And I guess I piss her off because I do the same to her.

lately; I got along quite well with my mom (not having so much to do with my dad all day)
but it's been way too calm lately ... I can sense a big fight coming soon

Nothing good was on TV last night and I had nothing good saved on my Tivo to watch either.

Yikes, that isn't before my time.

I loved that song.

My parent's have come to visit me twice in the last couple of months. We were estranged for a long time. Things are a lot better now, but they did drive me crazy.

I can shower without running water. Sometimes I prefer it. Spending chunks of your childhood in India, and 3rd world countries will do that.

I'm in a funk Katie and I have a feeling the board switch has a lot to do with people taking time off from posting. I know it bugged me when the pages took a million years to load and then getting used to the new layout.

I think it will pick up again once summer sets in

Nah I think it's the begining of Summer and people are naturally in a funk. Plus leaving your childhood behind and joining us in the real world is kind of a freaky time in ones life. I was lost for about a year I went to college and made my parents waste their money for about a year when I decided to work for a Huge Financial firm. I started working the front desk and calling for appointments and now I run my own office and while my friends were graduating college and looking for jobs I was already established. You just gotta go with your gut and do what works for you.

Oh the person in my avi is Selma Hyak (sp?) and the only reason I have this avatar is because I don't like to save avatars on my work computer and I have been too lazy to change it with my home computer.
