Hi everyone,

OMG I just recieved the best news in the world today my clostest and best friend since 1st Grade Isabel (yes that is her real name ) called me out of the blue today saying how she is now working in the New York City and that we should meet up sometime. So I am seeing her next weekend! I am so excited the last time I saw her was in 2003 when she was visiting her sister who used to love in the city she now lives in CA.

OK our friendship has really stood the test of time because we became friends in first grade when we were on the same bus and were in the same 1st grade class. Then went to grammer school together and Middle school together. We didn't go to the same high school because I decided to go to Catholic high school. Out of all of my friends she was the only one who supported my decison to leave and attend the differnt high school. Even though we went to differnt high schools we still hung out all the time that year and even went to a few school dances and we always went to each others high school events.

Then after 9th grade she moved upstate and would visit every now and then.Last time I saw her when we were in high school was December of 98. Then she went to college upstate and I went to college in Rhode Island. Well her major was international relations so she got to travel a lot. She was in England, Ireland, and I think Germany as well for some time. I loved getting her emails and hearing all about her travels and adventures.

So the last time I saw her was in August of 2003 when she went to visit her older sister Sally who lived in NY at the time after she had just gotten back from England and right before we were going to start out senior year of college.

So after Isabel graduated for college she was in CA for a while with her sister. Then her college loved her so much that they wanted her to go and represent their international relations program in New Zealand. She loved it there being that is where Lord Of The Rings was filmed and she is a huge Lord of the Rings Fan! She loves Leggolas and is a huge Orlando Bloom fan as well.

Anyway this past year her parents moved to Whiteplans NY so now she is closer to the city and she just got a job in NYC so she was telling me that we so have to meet up. She was so excited to hear from me and I was estatic to hear from her as well.

So there is the story if me and Isabel's journey. We still laugh and are amazed as to how long our friendship has lasted between distance and even differnt time zones we have always managed to keep in touch. Even my family is amazed how long we have managed to stay friends. So I guess our bond of friendship must of been a deep one when we meet all those years in 1st grade.

I can't wait to see her and catch up. So that was my very exciting news for the day!

I swear this year just keeps on getting better and better!

I can't wait for Tribeca this weekend and to see everyone! It is going to be a blast!
