Anyone sending fan mail to other Celebs too? I sent some cards to the Veronica Mars Cast but I sent them to the VM production office in San Diego so I don't think they will even get it till they come back to work on season 2

Coolness, I just wrote to him about 4 weeks ago (I asked for an autograph), so we'll see what happens!

Conan O'Brien
Regis Philbin
Jim Carrey (my brother wrote to him actually, like 10 years ago)
Roger Ebert
George W. Bush

I have written fanmail before, to the Backstreet Boys and I did recieve a printed autographed photo. Made my day, back then

Don't know if I'd do it now, I just don't know what to say really

Yeah, the key is to keep the letter short. For Colin's all I really said was that he was my favorite actor and which movie of his was my favorite (more enthusiastically of course

) And very politely asked for an autograph.

Different people send autographs quicker.....Conan O'Brien's took like a year, but Roger Ebert's only took 2 weeks, lol, kind of sad, for Roger.

it was a print-out photograph, so they weren't real. In order to get real autographs you'd have to wait around their hotel or something and hope to get an autograph that way. I don't know if I still have it, since it isn't real

I guess I'll discover whether I have it or not when I eventually move out, you always discover old things that way

I know what you mean. I've written fan letters and never got an answer, which was quite frustrating really, when the one/s you sent the letter to were your biggest idols, sort of. Oh well, I guess some people get too much fanmail

LOL, me and my bro were going through this phase where we just wrote to any celebrities. My bro was like, "Yeah, you should write to him he's cool". Roger Ebert is a film critic.....he's like semi-famous.
