Colin Hanks - Do you feel vindicated? Let's party!!

OK, I remember being on FF sometime towards the end of the first season. I used to post on the Roswell/Colin boards from time to time.

Everyone was swooning over Liz/Max, Michael/Maria, or Isabel/? No one seemed to be into Alex/Colin like I was. And A/I didn't have much support.

Then they killed off Alex. I was so upset.

But then Roswell bombed without him. And Colin's career is doing better than all the other "hot" Roswell actors' combined. While most (not all) of the rest of them only have sci-fi conventions to look foward to, Colin has movies, pilots, critical acclaim, and buzz to his name.

I hope I haven't offended anyone with this topic. But I just need to get this off my chest.

Well I don't think I'd say I feel Vindicated for I knew it all along lol. I was VERY upset when they let Colin go from the show and they knew they made a mistake, why else would they bring him back during the last season?

As you can see I have been a HUGE Colin fan since I first started posting here in 2000 "ColinsChica" Ah Hum.

I think he is an easy sell in Hollywood and to know him is to love him, we knew he'd be busy with films but it is cool to know that everyone else knows it now too [img]smilies/love.gif[/img]

I wish the best for the other actors on the show but it makes me feel great that he really is the break out star of Roswell [img]smilies/in_love.gif[/img]

I don't know. I was mad and upset. One of the reasons I boycotted Crashdown was b/c of their lack of Colin stuff. Whereas if another cast member sneezed, it'd end up on the front page.

I'll admit it. I'm still a little bitter about them killing off Alex. That's why I'm feeling so gloatful (it's a word now!) [img]smilies/tongue.gif[/img]

Yeah, I always knew Colin had bigger and better things waiting for him. But it's even sweeter now.

PERFECTLY sad! I was so ... angry and seething when Colin left and in S3 when they acted like he never existed [img]smilies/mad.gif[/img] didn't watch the show anymore in S3 ... didn't miss much from what I've heard *hehe*

I knew all the time that he's the best! [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img]

Although I love Colin and he was my favorite male actor on the show. I have to postpone attending your party. The canellation of the show in WB did'nt rest on Colin being booted out alone. If you have'nt notice the show had been saved by the fans for another season without Colin. There are a lot of factors that contributed to the diminishing of the the show the storyline for example. But they did not cancell because of your anger towards the fanbase that love the couplehood of Max and Liz or Michael and Maria and for your information. Most fans did'nt gushed on Isabel ALONE. She was not an interesting character for most of us without her team up with Colin's character Alex. We like Colin more than we like KH. He was well loved by both the Dreamers and the Candy.

Well Colin is very visible this days. It's true and it was not due to the fact that he has a famous father. He was out and about cause he was a real eye candy. He deserve to be in the Camera. Take that Katim.

okay what I heard from a source is that Colin never want to quit Roswell and that bastard made him cause he was shooting Orange County that time. And Katim was selfish
and he had his character killed. And yes though being a dreamer is not enough for me to enjoy the show anymore without Colin's Alex character. The dynamic between his Alex, Liz and Maria is just great. A nice respite from their 3 brooding alien counterpart.

I'm sorry if I offended you. I know that Roswell's cancellation had very little to do with Colin's boot. But it didn't help. :wink:
