Regarding the lates strikes at London:
I founded out that Someone has opened a website We're not Afraid! where people post photos. Some are very good. Postman |

it is pretty admirable how the Brits deal with the strikes ... showing their usual british calmness and not giving the terrorists the satisfaction of acting all scared and paranoid

Answering question on last thread: We saw National Treasure.
Uhmmm... so yah... I'm feeling pretty guilty/bad... So, I was hanging out with my 2 friends all day yesterday (a guy and a girl.. who used to date)... and after the movie, we all headed back to his house and went swimming and watched a movie.... and then we fell asleep. The girl was supposed to be coming over to my house to spend the night... but uhmmm... When there was a call at 8:30 this morning, we woke up and were like OH NO! And had to call my parents to let them know we were okay, but had just fallen asleep... It was bad, but my mom had just assumed that's what had happened, so that was good. But I don't know... it's just a horrible feeling. |

Aww, don't feel bad. It was an accident. And it sounds like you and your Mom have a trusting relationship.
Trude, the title is from another REM song, you're right. "The Great Beyond" from the "Man on the Moon" soundtrack. __________________

Blinkie, that's a joke. We've always used some random number on the OT thread. Cyn or another guy started that, I think.
I had -7 as a topic number. Pav, then made the next one 8, and then you 9. I just thought I'd bring back the tradition. __________________

I haven't been sleeping well lately either. Too much, work, caffeine and anxiety, etc. But I love sleeping.
I picked 2099 for no reason. It's just a cool number. I could be alive then. I'd 121 years old though. I'll admit I love sci fi so I'm always wondering what the future might be like. __________________
