I liked DD a lot, but I preferred everything about JJ more ... well, except for the fight scenes.
 I was never bored for a minute with JJ as I was now & then with DD. David Tenant was awesomely evil as Kilgrave. He is such a versatile actor. __________________

 The mind control story on JJ is creepy. Just to imagine that someone has so much power over basically everyone gives me shudders. __________________

the fights in DD were really well done but ... a bit over the top, I think
I mean, I get that DD and Fisk can take a big beating but the average/normal humans often took many hard blows too where I was shaking my head, thinking they should long be knocked out/dead by now I am glad that they did tell us what was done to Kilgrave (and hinted at things done to Jessica) but refrained from giving him some kind of excuse for why he is an evil POS and Luke Cage being a big guy without being ripped was quite nice too  |

Trude, you're right about the DD fights not to be believed; but I did enjoy the ones that concentrated on the Martial Arts aspect.
They did a good job of faking Kilgrave's "excuse" for being evil .. it wasn't his parents tormenting him, it was HIM all along. Ditto your take on Luke, ladies.  __________________

In the comics, Jessica is a blond (or sometimes purple hair); but I honestly think Krysten's black hair suits the noir aspect of her attitude better.

It was! I thought he'd be a permanent character in DD.
eta - We were planning to see Star Wars-TFA this afternoon, but our theater is sold out for all matinees. My son is going over to get advance tickets for tomorrow.  __________________
