Well it's weird because I was never (and still am not) into jewelry! LOL. I've always viewed the ring as more of a symbol of commitment, and not like, "Oooo, check out that rock it's got!"

But I think I know why I dreamt that now--I got into contact with him two days ago, and he basically said he wouldn't hang out with me unless we had sex.

So I just said, "No thanks, I'm not like that, goodbye."

So now I'm thinking maybe the dream was kind of predicting the future. I still care about him, but don't care if I see him again. I wanted a loving relationship, but all he ever wanted was sex. Because with the dream, I was the one who felt "in love", but it looked like he didn't love love me, and that's why I didn't have a ring(?)

He definitely was, lol. It was via text messages so it was easier for him to tell me without him being embarrassed.

I honestly am glad he was straight with me before "tricking" me into anything though.

Although I think I made the right decision too, it's still hard getting over him. Maybe I just have this false perception built up in my head and it's hard to let go. I hope I can get over him fairly soon though.

It's always tough to get over someone, so you definitely should'nt blame yourself for feeling the way you do

And like Trude said, there are better guys out there (although I have still yet to find them

It's okay 'cause I clearly haven't either.

I'm sure there are some in all those places Trude, they're probably just few and far between so it's hard finding them in general.

I think you are right, I think the good guys are harder to find cause they rarely go out the way playboys do
