Bad news guys, on IMDB it says that Orlando Blom will be in Elizabethtown, opposite Kirsten Dunst.

Hey, read about a new Colin project.

Quote:
UTA-repped Balfour next appears in the upcoming Curtis Hansen feature "In Her Shoes," playing a nice guy gone bad opposite Cameron Diaz (news). In addition, Balfour is producing and starring in the indie film "RX," playing a kid whose plan to buy prescription drugs in Mexico goes horribly awry. Colin Hanks (news) also stars.

Colin may guest star in 'The O.C.'. If I read this correctly, it is rather late here and I didn't read the whole thing.

Thanks for the Colin news about "The O.C" - I'm excited if this news turns out to be true. Colin and Adam Brody together? It's heaven on screen.

I know, Cyn. This is the best news ever, and from hearing around, it's most likely true.

You know on one hand I'm really happy for this because it'll be amazing to see him again on TV. On the other hand I wonder if he knows why he was hired. The O.C creator likes to send this meta-commentaries, shout-outs to boards, press, critics, etc. Since almost every critic has called Adam the next Hanks and how much he resembles the style Tom Hanks had at the beginning of his career, basically they have Colin, his son, playing Adam Brody, a famous actor everyone adores.

Obviously both can do 'geek' really well, but I hope Adam's hard-core fandom will have an open mind at someone playing him.

I found this at a page where they talked about Adam Brody vs. Colin Hanks (COlin loses )

Quote:
Once upon a time in 1999, there was a buzzy little teen alien show called Roswell. And a quirky little actor named Colin Hanks. When female viewers grew bored of charting the progress of Brendan Fehr's chia hair or watching Jason Behr running shirtless through the streets, they had Hanks as the sensitive, dorky best friend Alex. We cheered when he got the girl and shed more than one tear when Alex went to the Crashdown Diner in the sky.

So what if the success of Colin Hanks -- acknowledged son of Tom -- reeked of nepotism? He held his own on the sinking ship that was Roswell, and smartly jumped for the lifeboat before things really got ugly (We're looking at you, Season Three! Yes, you, UPN!).
I think that's funny null
