Well, it was nothing too terribly unusual... I live in the Sacramento area (where he lived growing up)... and well, as glamerous as it may seem, nothing really ever happens around here. So, when Tom Hanks was filming part of one of his films in the area, it was a BIG deal. Litterally everyone I went to school with went out to where they were shooting (and I don't even remember which film, how sad is that! I just remember it had snow in the scene)... And then, I was just looking around the set and everything, and who do I see? COLIN! I was soooo excited!!! Me and my friends (one who's older sister's sewing teacher was the mother was one of Colin's friends, how random is that???) called out to him, and he came over and was just excited that we were excited to see him and get to meet him and what not. We all got his signature, but since none of us had had the sense to bring a camera, unfortunantly have no pictures. He was just so gracious, and friendly... I don't really remember much else, everything's a blur because I was so excited.

That's so cool! *squeals like a little girl* Thanks for the story. It's cool that you got to meet him.

That is pretty cool. I lived in Concord Cali for 5 years and I really miss the San Fran Bay area. You got real lucky!

I've never been in that area. I've only been to South CA (San Diego and Los Angeles). I didn't bump into Colin in either place.

Maybe he'll come to Chicago (which is where I am).

Maybe!

Especially with the fact that it's a big city... and King Kong is always destroying cities in pictures... haaa.

Nah, there's a lot of reasons that he'd come to Chicago Ones that make more sense than my suggestion, even!

If you could spend one day with Colin, where would you go and what would you do? Be as detailed or as vague as you like... just have fun imagining the day!

Hmm, I'd love to act with him (I'm an actor too). It wouldn't even have to be romantic. Maybe doing a play together. That would be so awesome.

I'm actually writing one right now. Colin could play one of the male characters.

hmmm sounds exciting! I can't think of anything more thrilling than sharing a stage with him.... even if i was playing the girl he constantly ignored in a play, I think it'd be awesome!

What's your play about, if I may ask?

It's about 4 people in a psychiatric ward. There's not much plot, just a lot of monologue. It needs a ton of work.

US Weekly did an article about kids of Hollywood stars, but no mention of Colin.
