Anyway, my current avatar is supposed to look like this, so I'm not at all disappointed with it. It was the other ones I was talking about.. anyways

Actually, I just took a texture and fiddled with it.. I did nothing to the colors. But thanks anyways

no, but you know some pictures are better for icons than other ones

there are, actually some bad pictures of Colin I typically use, when making icons, photoshoot-pictures. The lighting is often perfect, the person in the picture tends to look at his/her best and it's easy. But then again, this might be because I'm not patient enough to look through hundreds and hundreds of screencaps in order to find the best pic that way

That's true. Photoshoot pictures are better than other ones when you make an icon

No problem Izzy And I most definitely think you should re-post some earlier icons, why not the ones you think are the best?

Sometimes you hit jackpot and find the most hilarious/gorgeous/ adorable screencap, and then it suits well for icons The problem about screencaps is that you have to find a cap that's good qualitative-wise. You don't want it to be blurry etc etc.
