I actually really liked the episode. The end made me tear up. Dean and Charlie.

They best never kill off her character. Ever.

I did really like this episode. The teaser made me think it was just going to be another filler episode, but I really liked it. It wasn't completely filler with Sam's condition.

I love Dean and Charlie. Their friendship is so sweet. I'll be so mad if they kill her character!

No it wasn't. And it had more emotions than most filler episodes do.

It is! The hug and the Star Wars references and the scene where they talk about her mother and how she hugged him and he held her while she cried. And I loved that she read the books.

It's not worth getting back into. It was a good episode, but not enough are that good.

I think you've hit on a good point. There aren't enough characters mixing it up. Is it any wonder they've run out of stuff to really do? It's Sam and Dean, and that's fine, but throughout the show they've always had other people pop in and out. They killed all those people off and Cas has gone missing. Aside from what Gamble did, honestly, I can't help but wonder if the cast might be too small. It needs a new mix of personalities and things to do with them. She fits in perfectly. The X Files had a two agent lead, but they kind of did the same thing Supernatural used to, but it was carried through for all nine seasons (though season was just an abomination, but that's for a whole other reason). I think you need to have a variety of personality to keep things lively.
