I guess I should just thank my lucky stars that I live in the US, huh?

I don't know how you guys deal with the delay! As it is, I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for Caprica to start.

I do that But the sites the TV stations have has the same weird way of not really announcing ep numbers as the spots in the paper has

Yeah, you should, Rachel Living in such a remote backalley of the world as I do is normally great, but as to TV it sucks I handle it by watching online

Yeah, I guess the ep summary would be a place to go. But it is not always they have that either.

So this means that he’s played a role in the Whedonverse, the Whoverse, and the Galacticaverse, accomplishing the ultimate television actor’s trifecta of geek.
I love this reviewers way of expressing himself! But geek? that's a word I havent thought of for describing that role list

I’d pay real money if he shags a cylon.
I have no idea what a cylon is, but that sounds hilarious, no matter what

Perhaps we Americans use the word geek as an almost-term-of-endearment for lovers of the scifi and comic book realm. I am admittedly a geek for both Whedon and BSG, myself.

A cylon is a robot. The "skin jobs" the writer is referring to are the human-looking cylons that were the main antagonists in BSG. The "toasters" are the non-human looking robots. Toaster is the derogatory term for Cylons that humans often used.

On Caprica, the cylons are just being built, so they will all be the "toaster" model.

then it makes sense. I'm used to seeing it as almost-derogatory for the same. But yeah, I am too a total Buffy-geek And havent watched BSG yet, but it would surprise me if I ended up really loving that too

Thanks for the explaination. And I agree. Such a scene would have been priceless

I don't know if "Barnabus Greeley" would shag a "toaster" Cylon....but Captain John Hart would. In fact I know just what he'd say the first time he saw one..."Nice"

He would totally shag a "skin job" Cylon. Most of the humans did at one time or another during the course of BSG. They were hot!

The toasters, well. They look like this:

Not really so sexy.

And Spike already did a "skin-job" Cylon (Buffybot) . There is something to be said for a partner that just smiles and agrees with everything you say.
