Well her mom grabbed the knife and did some stabbing to protect herself and her daughter. She's seen her daughter come home with enough injuries I suspect and didn't want some more from that person. Protective Mama Bear coming out!

I'm sure the strain will remain pretty big, but now that Roxxon has taken the blame a huge weight should be lifted from them.
