I think that it may be time to close this board. Our post counts have been declining over the past few months and we have very few regular posters. As you know, Fan Forum requires that we average at least 12 posts per day, with lower numbers than that leading to warnings and then possible closure of the board. I would prefer to go out under our own terms rather than be forced to close due to low post counts.

Please let me know what you think. I'd be glad to hear any suggestions or advice to renew interest here. Remember that to keep the board going, we need the commitment of a few regular, dedicated posters. As much as we love this board, please don't just post to "save" the board and then disappear again, because we'll be in the same position that we're in now if you do.

It's really a tough decision! But sadly Cloak & Dagger has been cancelled after only two seasons. It's hard for me as a solo mod to keep discussions going, especially knowing that there sadly won't be anything new coming to spark more interest in the topic. I'd love to hear what you think!

But it is best for you to decided when the board should close rather than get it go to the low count.

You can always try and discuss it on the Marvel board if you wish

Thank you for stopping by! It really is tough It's a case of another Marvel show with so much potential that ended too soon.

At the start of the new year I knew I wanted to step down as moderator and I was worried the board would be forced to close through that means as well. It would be nice to say "hey we rocked it while we could" and close the board on a slightly peppier note.

Yes! If this board does close there are other places on to continue talking about the characters. I know the couples board already has a Divine Pairing thread up and running.


I'm so thrilled you're watching the show It's been great when you've stopped by! I think this show was unfortunately under the radar for many which is a shame since I think it's one of Marvel's best shows.

That's a rough one. You do what you think is best. If you think there may be someone who would take over, you can step down, but if not, than it's for the best.

I wouldn't mind having a few C&D threads over at Runaways since they were in the crossover. Making character threads for the main two and even a couple one since we got some good moments in the xover. (Just let me know.)

That is a really sweet offer! And it definitely could work I think for any interested parties! It could perhaps also help the Runaways board also by giving it a little thread and topic boost!

It's definitely a hard decision, but I completely understand why you want to close this board. I know from modding the Daredevil board how hard it is to keep these boards going after all of the Marvel shows have been cancelled.

even the off season isn't easy but cancellation makes it almost impossible to go on for long..

Thank you so much for saying that! The board has been quite fun for the year and a half or so that I was able to moderate it. All the posters who have stopped by have been a joy and I really appreciate what we've been able to do with the board while we could

That's so true. Off season can be a struggle, but at least you know there is something new coming to work toward. It's all the worse when you know there's nothing more.
