hey all,
I have a lot of questions. Did Angel ever tell anyone he loved Cordy? Did he tell Buffy that? Whatever happened to that Kate character? Who ended up living at the end of the finale? How did Faith's character end up? Why did cordy sleep with Connor? How did Connor end up being old so fast? I know Dru was on in the last season, how did things go with her and Spike? What did she say about Buffy? Thanks so much!!

I don't know if he ever verbally told anyone. But I think a few of them thought he did. And he never told Buffy.

We cam assume that none of the four remaining fang gang members (Angel, Spike, Gunn, and Illyria) survived. The Senior Partner's army was coming after them. However, the episode ended on a note that it was up to the audience member to decide if they survived. I have no idea if Lorne survived but he left before Angel and the gang went into the final battle. And Connor was also alive still because he went back to his "new" home and College.

Holtz ended up taking Connor through a rip in reality to another dimension. In that other dimension both Connor and Holtz aged faster. Connor ended up tearing his way back into Angel's reality and when he did that he was many years older.

I think Dru was only on in a flashback. So she never talked to Spike about Buffy.

yes it did help a lot. So Dru and Spike never spoke after he came back after he came back when she dumped him in season 4? I thought Connor was going to fight in the battle, what happened? What happened to he and cordelia's baby? What was the whole Cordelia higher power about and why did she sleep with connor? Thanks!

Are you talking about in season 4 of btvs when he joined the show because he and Dru had split? Dru did come back on to Angel after that. She was on Angel season 2. And made Darla a vampire again. They caused some trouble and killed a few people and then Angel lit them on fire. After that Dru left LA and showed back up on BTVS in season 5 to visit Spike. By that time Spike already had his chip in and was claiming he was in love with Buffy. Dru tried to get Spike to join her again but in the end he chose Buffy over Dru. We never saw them together again in present day after that. (except The First evil did make appearances as Dru in season 7 of BTVS but that really wasn't Dru)

But as far as in Angel.. Dru and Spike never spoke in the present day during season 5.

In Not Fade Away Connor did end up helping Angel defeat Hamilton. But he did not join Angel in the FINAL battle with W&H's army. This is what was said between them after they defeated Hamilton..

Cordelia's baby ended up being a demon/fallen higher-being/bad guy. When evil!Cordelia did the ritual to give birth the "baby" ended up being a grown female who was later named Jasmine. Jasmine had the power to make everyone fall in love with her and worship her. The only thing that could get people out of that "spell" was if her blood was mixed with theirs. Connor ended up killing Jasmine in the season 4 episode called Peace Out.

This is a whole convoluted story. It ended up being that Skip who was Cordelia's "guide" was really working for "Jasmine". And the only reason they made Cordelia a higher being was so that "Jasmine" could travel back to earth with Cordelia and eventually take over her body. This is how "Jasmine" explained it..

so when and how was cordelia made a higher being? did she know that when it happened? was it during the amnesia or after? so it wasn't her that slept with connor? was dru surprised by his feelings for buffy? did she knew or something? thanks!

She was made a higher being in the last episode of Angel season 3 in the episode Tomorrow. Skip, who was her "guide" said that since she had handled the new powers she received (in the episode Birthday) so well that she had now transcended Earth and was ready to take on being a higher being or joining them. It happened in the end of the episode right as she was driving to the cliffs to join Angel. Time began to freeze for everyone around her and then Skip appeared. He told her how she was ready to become a higher being and then when she finally accepted she was lifted up into the air on a bright light. (it was pretty cheesey)

It was before. She had amnesia in season 4 right when she returned from being a higher being. We never really found out why she was sent back from being a higher being. But I guess we should assume that "Jasmine" (who took over her body) was responsible for it.

It was Cordelia's body. But she had been taken over by that higher being, Jasmine, so that Cordelia's body would become magically impregnated by Connor and Jasmine could eventually be born. Jasmine controlled most of Cordelia's actions in season 4. We later found out in You're Welcome that Cordelia knew what was being done to her body but she couldn't do anything about it.

I would assume she was surprised by his feelings for Buffy. However, we had seen in flashbacks that Dru was mad that Spike couldn't stop talking about Buffy when they left in season 2. This is what was in the transcript of the scene where she found out.

thanks so much magical. I remember they couldn't find cordy for awhile in season 4 then she just showed up right? Also, was that scene you transcribed a flashback or season 5 time? Thanks!

do we have any news on when the Angel soundtrack is gonna be released? will it still be only anywhere that's not U.S?

You're welcome! And yeah, she came back in the end of the 3rd episode of season 4. The first episode they didn't know where she was. The second episode Angel found out that she had gone up with the higher beings and thought she was happy there. And the third episode the gang went to Las Vegas and when they returned she was in the lobby of the hotel. When she came back she had no memory.

I have no real answer for this. The official answer is that Joss had been planning on getting rid of Doyle from the very beginning. He thought it would be a good way to start the show and show everyone that no one was safe. He also decided that Doyle's story wasn't that long and it could be told in that short of time.

I've heard that supposedly Joss and the writers thought that Doyle's character and Angel were too similar. That they needed a better foil to Angel and that Wesley and his comedic characteristic would be better suited.

There were also rumors after Glenn died that he was originally let go from Angel because of his drug problems.

And I have no idea about the soundtrack. There was a link posted on the news thread to a site where you could listen to clips of the songs. I think you could also buy each song at that site. Karyn was the original person who posted that link so you can find it on the News thread.

something that i've been wondering also, how come the show heavily emphasizes how Angel is totally different person than when he doesnt have a soul, like how they call him Angelus, but with spike he's just....Spike, like soul or no soul he's the same spike?

I don't think Spike is the same person with a soul and without.

In my opinion the reason why Angel has a different name was because the writers were trying to distinguish between the two "characters" or personality of Angel with a soul and without. When he was on Buffy he was supposed to be the love interest for the leading lady and they had to make it clear to the audience that Angel and Angelus were two different people and/or personality. And then they built a mythology around that with him changing his name after he got his soul back.

For Spike, I think the reason why a lot of people confuse him with a soul and without is because he didn't have a different name. He was Spike on the show for so long that it would be hard for them to change his name suddenly. He wouldn't go back to the name of William because that wasn't who he was anymore- even with the soul. Just like Angel didn't go back to Liam. But where Spike only had a few seasons with a soul, Angel had a few decades with a soul to change his name to Angel from Angelus. I don't know if Spike would have changed his name ever, but I think from the writers stand point they just never did it.

Thats just my opinion though.

Okay, i have asked this question like 29 times in 25 different places....but does anyone have a picture of the tattoo david has on his right shoulder. it's of the angel and i want to get a tattoo like that, but my tat guy doesn't watch the show so he doesn't know what it looks like, so i need a pic. Thanks guys!
