Yeah, that's annoying if it isn't explained somehow. I read something recently that was like 'don't read it if you don't like soulless spike' and he was such a softie, I almost puked.

I like bad boy Spike. Also, if I were going to read a souled Spike story, I want him to have an edge OR, what I'd love to see is Spike not loving Buffy anymore because she was with him in his evil state. That would be *great.* If someone finds that, link me.

i hate when they do that to him and i hate when they make him so weak and i hate saint cordy in fics i.e. where the scoobies come to town and are treating her like dirt she just takes it and fred has to step in and tell how wonderful cordy is then angel finally gets the balls to speak up to buffy and the scoobies to tell them they do not know cordy anymore, she has chaged, they do not know her... yadda yadda and

almost everyone hated when they did the saint cordy thing (even cc) late s3 but yet i have read tons of fics where the fic writer has turned her this saintly and annoyingly mothere teresa type creature

to begin with before the demonise me thing (which imo is about the time they started doing the sainted one routine) cordy would have told buffy and the scoobies where to go stuff themselves...not just took it with a sad smile and hurt feeling, heck even late s3 after getting her demony goodness i doubt she would have did that

Yeah, I know it doesn't exist. But should it appear...you know where I am to be linked.

I think it is so annoying to read fic where all the characters are perfect. Perfect people aren't interesting. I like BTVS fic because I love Cordelia then, when she was as likely to get a leg wax as save the world. Flaws are just such a basic building block of drama.

and imo anyway cordy's flaws were adorable saint cordy was annoying and dull and way to occ to be believable. when she came back from here groo shagging trip and began that routing (not to mention the blonde hair i was sondering what in the hell was wrong with her (and it was strange the especially angel along with wes,gunn and lorne seemed to not notice something was weird with her...of course wes was not around much after the kidnapping of connor incident and he was not exactly himself either)
