I'm still on her side. He was pretty much ignoring her feelings to help her rapist. If I was her I'd probably throw Riley in his face too. What was happening with Faith did involve her because Buffy was Faith's only real friend, the one that Faith betrayed constantly, the one whose mother she tried to kill, the one whose life she stole and body she defiled. Faith made it about Buffy. I can't imagine what it must have felt like to walk into his apartment and see them hugging on the bed when it hasn't been that long since she found out that Faith tricked Riley into making love to her and the last time that Buffy, Angel, and Faith were in the same city was when Faith shot him with a poison arrow forcing Buffy to let him nearly drain her dry to save his life. And she was probably also replaying having to see them kiss in Enemies when Faith tried to get him to lose his soul and was planning on torturing Buffy to death.

I was pretty pissed with Angel in that episode until his reaction to hearing Buffy talk about Riley. It was seeing his hurt over her having feelings for another man that made me like him again. I loved how emotional he got. The way he faced the wall. The sound in his voice when he yelled at her. The fact that he drove two hours to apologize to her for yelling at her.

I was digusted by her behaviour - for throwing Riley in his face and I was pissed off that he apologized to her and that she didnt even aplogize at all... from what i remember

I'm Team Angel on that one too. Sorry but she didn't own up to the fact that she was only there to punch Faith in the face. She didn't even apologize for her pretty behaviour. And then she got upset because he is trying to find an identity like she's the only one who's allowed to do that. Don't even get me started on the punch

Angel is a good man. He went all the way to Sunnydale to apologize knowing that he'd have to meet this guy that she apparently trusts more than him. The guy who gets to sleep with Buffy without fear, who gets to see her in the sunlight.

I'm Team Angel too. I wanted to smack Buffy for talking to Angel like she did and then hitting him. And she had the gal to play the victim when he cracked her one right back. I'm proud of him for standing up for himself.

I felt a little bad because Buffy never really gets to feel sexy with Angel when he surrounds himself with highly sexual women. And I think that's at the root of her Faith issues. But she punched him first. Then got mad when he punched her back. What is that?

I was totally on Buffy's side up until she cracked him one. I wish he had shown more sensitivity to Buffy instead of being so feirce about defending Faith, whom he felt badly for because he could somewhat relate to her. Buffy was insane with jealousy because to her, it didn't seem like he cared about what Faith had done to her and Buffy never really got over thinking something was there between Angel and Faith. And it came out when she punched him one. And him hitting her back, well, she didn't expect that. Though I don't think she was expecting anything really. Like I said, insane jealousy got the best of her. All she was thinking was, he left me and now he's chosen Faith over me and he hit her. Buffy is very good at explaining her actions away to herself to justify her actions. Like she did with Spike later in the series. I'm sure if Angel had really questioned her about it like she would have done had Angel done something with Faith like she had with Spike, somehow it would be okay for her to boink Spike and yet totally wrong for Angel to do the same with Faith.
