As Angel and the gang try to figure out what exactly is inside Darla---who's now having contractions---news of her pregnancy causes near pandemonium at Wolfram & Hart. Meanwhile, the demon Sahjhan (Jack Conley) tries to bring a newly resurrected Holtz (Keith Szarabajka) up to speed on what he missed over the last couple of centuries. Darla: Julie Benz. I loved these three episodes of when Darla came back. This one was probably my least favorite of them. But I loved it still. The whole storyline of Darla starting to feel emotions because she was beginning to share Connor's soul. And the scenes of Angel being so happy he was about to become a father of a son. It makes it sad watching in retrospect because we know how that whole situation turned out.

I really want to watch tomorrows episode though. Because todays episode ended on a good cliffhanger. Too bad I'll be working and wont see the first half.

Lullaby isnt ont il monday I think they have some sort of nascar racing tomorrow blahhh but i liked Quickening had some funny parts in it but i loved these darla episodes. And wolfram and hart are so stupid but you gotta love gavin.

i thought the scene with the vampire ninja cult was funny.
"now let us kill the humans! so we can use their blood to nourish the miracle child!"

Yeah i liked that part to. She was funny when she was listening to them how theyl'l kill the humans and she just got off the table

Never got THAT on Party of Five! Which is probably why Buffy/Angel are the most popular series for adult fanfic ever. Gavin is quite the voyeur. It seems that everyone knows about Marcus/Lilah on the desktop. Angel remarks to Darla that she likes pain. Linwood dumped his wife for a younger model (perhaps literally?).

Questions and observations;
The title is derived from the term when a pregnant mother feels her child move inside her for the first time (rather puts a different perspective on 'Highlander' huh?). How does Wes know so much about childbirth? WR&H lose audio for a crucial 2 days, Jasmine/PTB interference? Linwood is played by the same actor who was in 80s detective show 'Crazy like a fox'.

Am I the only one who is finding/found this plot a bit exasperating? You got Wolfram & Hart yet again up to their good for nothing tricks, you've got this man bought to the present by a demon, a man who's family was killed by Angel and Darla 200 years ago, you've got a pregnant Darla where it's impossible for vampires to become pregnant....it's all a bit insane. I don't like the idea of Angel and Darla having a kid together, it's just too weird. It does seem like Angel's soul has seemed to pass on to his baby and thus Darla is feeling some part of that soul's emotions. I admit when Wesley says that the baby is a boy it was cute how Angel was quite excited at the prospect of having a son when it should be impossible.

It was just a lot going on that didn't make a whole lot of sense to me.
