A lot of boards on FF chose not to have anti-threads for various reasons. For now it is not against any FF rules to have anti-threads on boards. However please realise that by the mods allowing posters the luxury of having anti-threads, you are asked to abide by some rules. 1. Anti-threads are aimed at characters. Remember if you're anti about something on FF it is because you dislike a fictional character. 2. Anti-threads is not a place to bash or hate on actors. They are doing their jobs. They are paid to act their scenes and are told what to do. They are not acting a certain way or destroying your "fictional world" because they thought it was fun. Any bashing of any actor/esses will result in a warning. If you continue to bash actors despite being warned your comments will be forwarded to Moderator Managers who will contact you in regards to your behaviour. 3. Alongside actors fans are not to be bashed. Fan Fourm is a place for respect. Do not take extracts and quotes from fans from this board or other boards and FF and post them to anti-threads. The same goes with other message boards. This is poor taste. You can make your point in a respectable and smart manner. Mocking on fictional characters is fine, but do not cross the line in taking other people's opinions and thoughts and making fun of them. Think! Would you like it, if someone did that to you? 4. Lurking. You lurk because either you're glutton for punishment or are thinking of ways to moan about other fans in your anti-thread. If your lurk you will see things you don't like. That is your fault. If you lurk and decide to make comments in anti-threads you will be warned. Remember we are all posters here who, post together in threads we all feel the same love towards. If you can't respect your fellow posters then don't bother visiting the board or don't post on anti-threads. But whatever you decide remember the moderators allow you to have anti-threads. If you abuse it, they will get closed. We all come on FF to post and have fun, not to be drowned in drama and fighting. 5. Remember! As much as we all loved our beloved pairings - they are all fictional. They don't have feelings and won't feel betrayed if you don't stick up for them every second of the day. Respect goes a long way. So appreciate and dislike and have fun. Posting Arts Please post icons and fan arts in their actual threads. If you are posting fan arts i.e. banners for the first post of a thread, please note that in your post. From now on you'll be asked to post all arts in their threads - and your post will be edited. We want to keep all threads relevant now. If you are posting art that is not yours please make sure you have permission to do so. Do not goggle images and post art that do not belong to you. Random Posts From now on, posts like "Hi, it's been a long time" will not be tolerated. Don't post useless messages on the thread. It has nothing to do with the show. Add something alongside with the message. Do this more than three times, you will receive a PM. We want to keep the board active on conversations about the show. For random talking visit the Off Topic Thread Starting Threads Please check here before you start to post a new topic. If it's something news related, then you don't need to start a new thread. Post it at the news thread. Most of all the actors/characters have threads. If they don't you are welcome to start them. However please don't start threads for minor characters, that only saw a few episodes in the show. Most duplicated threads will either be closed or merged to their master threads. Games Please do not start anymore games. We allow a few here but we don't want the board over run with games. Please visit the games board here. Posting Links Please don't. It is clearly indicated in the Official Fan Forum Rules that you are not allowed to post links to other message boards. After or before joining FF you were encouraged to read the rules beforehand. If you break these rules, I will PM the administrator team, and let them know. Please don't post links to game quiz sites that tell you what character you are from the show. They are pointless and don't promote conversation. Do that in your own time or at your live journal. Posting Pictures Please only post three or less pictures at once. Make sure they are a reasonable size, and don't stretch the page. Please don't hot link from sites and galleries. Imageshack is one of many free hosting sites that allow you to upload and direct link for their sites. Don't steal band with. Any pictures post, that aren't from a free upload agency will be deleted; and you will receive and PM as a warning.
