| Need Friends Thread # 89- When life is hard Friends are the best  This is our Off Topic (OT) thread, where you'll always find someone to talk to. Here you'll get to meet members of the FF community, newbies and oldbies, who love to socialize and meet new people so don't be shy, feel free to come, post and talk about whatever you feel like. Don't forget we have a rule here, and it is that we DON'T WANT posts that only say "hello! " or just a smilie. Of course, if you're new and you want to introduce yourself you can say "hello" and that would be enough, you won't get the punishment that those people aware of this rule will get. And our punishment is...a big fat  from your lovely mod Vi the spanker! I love how Malha sounds  And Jess, I won't be as violent as Vi..  and I can't imagine how your situation must feel, but I think that you should just TRY to ignore it. You've already tried? Try harder. Okay if you want to know about my names go lurk into the Username thread (page 1 and 4). But as it's been brought here I'll explain here. I have no idea why the others have changed their names but for me it's a very personal thing. Malha was my first name here and I loved it, it's my username everywhere else and it almost is like my second name in my mind. I only changed it to Queen Vi just before the change of software, when you still could change between your 3 usernames. Faced with the choice I wondered which name to keep and decide to keep the one I did because it had Vi, my real name, in it. However I've always had a love/hate relationship with it, while I loved how original it sounded, I hate the Queen part that in my eyes made look like someone I'm not, someone above the others. And it only had a meaning here in this thread, because of its history. The best memories I had on this board were as Malha. The Mahla/Malha issue comes to mind and I made a LJ entry about it not so long ago on how I missed Malha so. Because she is a part of me... and a part of this board too. I didn't know I could change my name, but I've been proposed to do it and so I choosed to get back to it. I'll miss this Queen Vi The Spanker and it's kind of sad that it won't live more traces of it's existence around here, I had fun with it, but it's a part of my life that's passé now.
