i stayed near san deigo when i went to california this summer.. theres QUITE a drive to burbank!.. just make sure you go early morning otherwise you'll end up sitting in traffic for 3 hours coming home at like noon!.. it wascrazy but TOTALLY worth it! good luck!

I practially mowed down the trouboudour because he came running out of Sookie's Garage just as I walked in front of it and I just stood there in awe whilst our tour guide said Love your music in Gilmore Girls and he replied Thanks Man lol.
Then we found out that Lauren had a 4pm call time and our tour finshed at 3.30pm so we went round again and we scored and saw Lauren filming.
Then on the way round we saw Matt leblanc who slowed down in his very flashy car and smiled then drove off again .
Then on 3rd tour we saw Kurt Russell in his car, Seann William Scott and Johnny Knoxville with the General Lee doing a photo shoot in Stars Hollow because it used to be the orignal Hazzard County.
And then on the 4th tour it was a Saturday so there was no one there but because we went on a special tour the guide was fantastic and let us wander a bit so we got to see some new sets for GG and we got to go in the Dragonfly and Lorelai's house and Lukes Diner and Sookies house and all the outside sets. I've finally updated my pictures if you want to check it out and but i haven't updated my live journal yet

Oh and nothing to do with Gimore Girls but I ended up doing TV interview for the lois and Clark DVD's so i got to meet Beverly Garland (Lois's mum) K Callan and Eddie Jones (Clarks parents) and although I didn't meet him I got to ask Dean Cain whether he was afraid of flying lol. I seriously don't know how actors do it because you walk under the lights and it was sooooooo hot I thought my makeup was gonna melt lol.

WOW quite some tours you had! I am sooooo jealous

My daughter and I went on the tour in March of 2004. Our guide was funny, and pretty knowledgable about GG. We went ot the museum, Harry Potter stuff on the top floor, I got in trouble for touching the spider (its leggs were feathers) the A.I. doll was creepy. We weren't allowed to take pics of the museum. We were driving by the ER set, and saw Maura Tierny smoking a cigarrette. We went inside Emily and Richards house which was awesome, The table they have the Friday night dinners is short. We got to go inside the kitchen, and our guide showed us the food isn't real in the fridge some food was cheerios in containers, plus the "liquor" was tea. We did get to walk around Stars Hollow, but we didn't get to go inside Lukes, or anything. We walked to Sookies house, the HS, Doosie's, The Kims. We only got to drive by Lorelai's house because they were to be shooting that evening. We did get to go to the sound stage place, where they record music, the guy said they can put a 100 piece orcestra in the place, they were mixing music for New York Minute.

OT: We also attended the Scooby Doo 2 premier. We met Freddie Prinze Jr. and got his autograph one on a note card the other on the promo poster I ripped off the railing (crouwd control barriers) I told him : Hey Freddie we're from Albuquerque" and he said "Hey there Albuquerque" and signed the poster. I have the poster framed and hanging in my hallway!
I would like to go back out there!!

All of you are so LUCKY! It is my dream to go on a tour of the WB set, of Gilmore Girls especially. I want to meet Lauren Graham, or Alexis Bledel too! You all are the luckiest people in the world, I just wish all of us could be that lucky

Ok I finally updated my Live Journal to include all 4 times I went on the tour and I've put all my pictures of the set and of me meeting the cast on my photo bucket

Vicky, just looked at your pics and I have to say I am extremely jealous! I really hope that sometime this year I'll get out to California to go on the tour because my dad promised me before Gilmore Girls ends he would take me. I just don't know how it's gonna work out. It's awesome that you got to meet the cast too! Ahh Scott Patterson had his arm around you! I would have probably passed out.

4 times Vicky?? Wow, I 'm not sure when we will get to go back, I dont finish school till next year, then need a job that gives me a vacation.I'm hoping to get a job with New Mexico Child Support Enforcement, the benefits for the state aren't too bad. We will go back, hopefully before GG calls it quits, but even still, we know all the landmarks, and just being there is awesome!

That was just in one week lol. Me and my friend went a little nuts. I've been 8 times altogether lol. I make sure I go at least once everytime i go to LA. I just kind of went a little over board this time but it was totally worth ever cent I paid or I wouldn't have seen what I saw lol.

I live in the UK lol. But luckily for me I have friends in LA so I got visit alot. God help me once I live in the US though. I'm moving on the 17th October. I'll be flying to LA every weekend lol.

I live really close and I've only gone once! Haha. I never have a chance to go. I went this summer, since I didn't have anything else to do M-F, no classes or anything. I really want to go back (because we didn't get to take any SH pictures when we were there) but I don't know when I can.

I know the show is going on Hiatus soon. We are going on the Deluxe tour on March 16th, will they be filming again then, or do they go on hiatus when the show does?

They will be filming that week. Of this I am 100% sure.

Now if they'll be on location or what scenes they'll be filming, I cannot tell ya. But it should be episode 7.20. I know this because I've been there the past two years during that week lol.
