I'm sorry about your tour guide.

I guess we were lucky to get such a nice one. She seemed to like her job, and she was real knowledgeable with everything. I guess that can make a big difference!

Kitty and I got to go to the WB studios again today. It was a ton of fun. We were on a private tour with a friend so we got to take our time and look around Stars Hollow, plus see the indoor sets: Lorelai's house, The Dragonfly Inn, Yale, and Luke's apartment.

Here are all the pics of the outdoor stuff we saw. Not much new from everyone else's tour pics, but if you feel like lookin

. We looked inside Miss Patty's too. Everything is being taken down and stored since the season is almost over.

My rambly post about yesterday is up on my LJ. Hope I didn't forget too much. There aren't really any spoilers in there, just more details about what we did and what we saw on the indoor sets and stuff.

I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the tour in the summer. Since the season is over, is everything from the sets taken down to film other shows/movies? I was planning on going there in a couple weeks and wanted to know if the only things left were the fake brick buildings.

I'm going on the tour this week. I'm so scared, LOL. I want to see everything and I'm afraid they'll be filming everywhere or something. I'm only going with my best friend (and I think my mom is coming) so not a big group of crazy GG fans. I'll definitely do that later, though.

I live close enough I can do this whenever, so I figure I may as well get started with my best friend and mom.

Anyway. I'm scared. LOL. ::crosses fingers::

hey i went with my family at the end of june '05. my tour guide was anthony. he was really great and he answered all our questions. before he got on the cart, he asked us our favorite wb shows and i screamed gilmore girls!! pertaining to gilmore girls, we saw the town, the dragonfly, and lorelai's house. it sucked though because the things in lorelai's kitchen and luke's were boxed up. i so wanted to take a picture in front of the no cell phones sign!! anyway, it was great and i would advise any gilmore girls, er, or friends fan to go on it.

i went onthe tour the day before my birthday july 30.. it was a saturday tour.. i couldnt get on the deluxe tour so i took the next best thing and it was amazing.. i still dont believe it!.. there are pics here: http://photobucket.com/albums/b249/lindsxx/cali/

they began on the 1st page about half way down.. im hoping to go back soon.. hopefully see someone next time! but it was a blast! my tour guide was christopher .. he was cool and knew it was my birthday and i knew i loved GG b.c of my shirt and my family and everything lol!

Hi. Just thought I'd say if you want to read about my experience on the WB lot then hit my live Journal. I haven't finished it yet because me and my friend Heather went Nuts and went 4 times in one week. Tha makes mine a total of 8 times lol. We got to see loads though including The trouboudour, Sean Gunn and the one and only Lauren Graham, filming

I got to sit in Lukes Diner, go round the Dragonfly, Lorelai's house, Sookies house, Yale, And me and Heather were allowed to run up to the Twickham house. I got to touch the boat and the Chuppah. (I know i'm sad but it was cool) I totally went against my Spoiler free phase which I was doing really well with because we found out that much stuff Heather had to fill me in lol. If I remember I'll come back and tell you what we saw that was spoilerish. I'm now back to been spoiler free again

I'll tell you when I've finished my live Journal and put the rest of the pictures up but until then you can read about the first 3 times. The 4th time was the huge one because it was a special tour and we got to see and do loads.

I went on the tour today!

I was dissapointed by what we got to see in Stars Hollow. Not much! We couldn't even have our cameras out, because they were filming (but we didn't get to see anything interesting). However, we saw some other tour groups come by WITH their cameras, so that was a little unfair lol. They also didn't let us walk around much. They were filming near Sookie's/Twickham House. They had that street blocked off. But I couldn't tell if they were actually going to film there or if they were filming somewhere, like at Lorelai's, and it was just extra stuff. We mostly stood on the gazebo the whole time while in SH. We caught a glimpse of Lorelai's pink and blue garage, even though we couldn't go over there. And we could see Luke's from the distance! Too far for me though.

We also got to see the sound stage for Richard and Emily's house and Yale. I loved checking those out! Especially Richard and Emily's. It seems so small compared to how big it seems on TV. That goes for Yale, too!

My mom SWEARS we saw LG, but I can't say if that person was her or not. It was my mom who thought it was her, though, not me with my crazy wishful mind. But we went by really fast and a woman (who could've been her, but she had sunglasses on so I couldn't really tell) got out of a car in a parking area for GG.

That's the basics, I guess! Also got to see a lot of Friends stuff, which I loved, but this is the GG board, so I'll just share that stuff here.

i cant wait till i go!!!! i might be going to san diego next summer to visit my sis and were going to the wb tour, and im hoping ill be able to see alot. seeing u guys's pics is making it tough to wait a whole yr, but ill have to deal. Keep sending in ur pics i love em!!!!!

Hey don't give up Mandasmal. I live in the UK and I managed to go 8 times lol. OK so me and my friend Heather went totally mad and went 4 times in one week but it was totally worth it

wow you are so lucky! We went to Santa Barbara last year, but didn't realise that a tour existed, so we didn't go

On the first tour we saw Seasn Gunn who had sunglasses on and we found out Scott and him were doing a scene. We were hoping for Scott to come round the corner but he never did

I practially mowed down the trouboudour because he came running out of Sookie's Garage just as I walked in front of it and I just stood there in awe whilst our tour guide said Love your music in Gilmore Girls and he replied Thanks Man lol.
Then we found out that Lauren had a 4pm call time and our tour finshed at 3.30pm so we went round again and we scored and saw Lauren filming.
Then on the way round we saw Matt leblanc who slowed down in his very flashy car and smiled then drove off again .
Then on 3rd tour we saw Kurt Russell in his car, Seann William Scott and Johnny Knoxville with the General Lee doing a photo shoot in Stars Hollow because it used to be the orignal Hazzard County.
And then on the 4th tour it was a Saturday so there was no one there but because we went on a special tour the guide was fantastic and let us wander a bit so we got to see some new sets for GG and we got to go in the Dragonfly and Lorelai's house and Lukes Diner and Sookies house and all the outside sets. I've finally updated my pictures if you want to check it out and but i haven't updated my live journal yet

Oh and nothing to do with Gimore Girls but I ended up doing TV interview for the lois and Clark DVD's so i got to meet Beverly Garland (Lois's mum) K Callan and Eddie Jones (Clarks parents) and although I didn't meet him I got to ask Dean Cain whether he was afraid of flying lol. I seriously don't know how actors do it because you walk under the lights and it was sooooooo hot I thought my makeup was gonna melt lol.
