True. IDK if that's really a bad thing, but true. Even so, I return to my mantra: Max never did anything wrong, ever.

The only thing, IMO, that anyone can say against him as a person, not necessarily with Lorelai, is 'He's not Luke.' He ate the fiesta burger. He drank the coffee. He really wanted to be Rory's step-dad. Ah, I smile just thinking about all the stuff.

I really loved Max. He was a great guy, he loved Rory and Lorelai. I'm a total JJ, but I did love L/M. They were just so cute, and the way she talked to him and about him and everything. It was so sweet. Sometimes i really miss season one...

I just have to say they had the best make-outs on the show.
I mean, nothing will ever beat the L/L kiss in R&R, but all of their scenes were pretty damn hot.

So true. The kiss in 'The Breakup, Part 2'? Soooooo hot. Oh! The kiss in 'Paris is Burning'. But the best one was their 'Lane-interrupted' make-out in 'Love, War, and Snow'.

No I don't think so.. I mean compare the Lorelai/Max kiss 1.08 to the 5.09 kiss, there really is a huge differents between those

You'll see it really well if you play the kisses right after each other..

Although I want to believe she used tongues with Scott P too

I remember LG saying in an interview that she only used tongue with SP. She probably just forgot, though. Anyway, it's blatant that there is tongue in 5.09. Just use the zoom feature on the DVD player.

Back on topic: Lorelai/Max were a good first "Lorelai" relationship for the show.

Quite so. He was, IMO, the perfect mix between Luke and Chris. None of Chris' personality faults, but a clean-shaven, intellectual, gentleman.

They made a translation from an interview, but they just made that up in the translation, she didn't say that in the interview..
