Aw, really? Who hates it? It's not Sammy's greatest achievement for it's a really amazing dramatic storytelling point. It's Sam's "destiny" playing out in front of our eyes. It's awesome to watch him fight against it but not being strong enough. Plus, Dean's anguish and stomach turning disappointment?

I haven't been watching SPN frequently but I have seen episodes from this season and compared to the early seasons I am glad Sam has changed. I don't want him to always be evil or angsty or what not but he can't stay the way he was when the series began. And JPN can do it man let him expand his abilities to act I say!

Exactly. Plus I'm sure we'll get Sammy back at some point, but he needed to get his hands dirty a little bit. This was the good boy who scoffed at the idea of a trip to Vegas, lol. Now he's pretty damn dark.

And like you said, Jared's acting is absolutely devastating and amazing. It's not Sam's greatest moment, but it is one of JP's, acting wise.

To be honest I always was a SPN Dean girl (I can't say Dean girl alone lmfao) because I always found Sam angsty and whiny. Now I realize it wasn't a fault for him. Even though the Winchester was always in the supernatural world Dean joined it late in the game--and only after his girlfriend was killed. He didn't have the attitude that Dean or his dad had and it would take time. Now he got the attitude and maybe went evil while he was at it..but I admit..I like current SPN Sam better now
