Just figured they deserve some love.

One of the (many) things I love about this show is that I'm not annoyed with the vast majority of minor characters. They tended to be fun, especially the SH folks.

They DO deserve some love! I'm happy you bumped this thread. I was hanging out with the townies all weekend at the fanfest and they were all so pumped and happy to be meeting fans up there! I always loved and welcomed their crazy antics and felt they played an important role lending their lovable quirkiness to the fabric of the town.

I met "Jackson", "Andrew", "Miss Patty", & "Kirk" up there, oh! plus "Lane" and "Brian" and they were excited about everyone seeing the revival and getting to be rock stars for a weekend. Rose (Gypsy) was one of the happiest people there and really seemed genuinely excited about the show, citing it as one of her favorite shows to be a part of in her entire career and she even hopes to be at the next fanfest if they manage to succeed with it again next year?

As everyone is saying, that's so awesome. Lane&the band is one my favorite sls on the whole show and Gypsy is such a cool character (we don't often get to see a female mechanic). I'm very glad to hear the actors and actresses really enjoy portraying these characters.

Completely agreed. As the title says, wouldn't be the same without them.

I can't imagine the show without the townies.. Half the fun of the show is sometimes the crazy stuff that happens in SH and brings comic relief to the show.
