^Exactly. I was quite thankful there wasn't a love triangle with Logan, it was simply & purely a loving relationship. They almost tried to make it one when Jess showed up but Rory admitted the depth of her feelings for Logan to Jess and for me, that spoke volumes.

If it doesn't go the way I want it, I'll just go back to season 5-6. It's funny because I haven't rewatched the show in years and until the revival prompted another rewatch, I never realised how happy I am with their original story, even if it's unfinished.

That's a good way to look at it. They really did have some wonderful moments in the series worth rewatching. I just wish they had a better, more well-deserved ending.
