Same. I still ship Rory with Jess, absolutely. But I greatly enjoy the Rory/Logan journey. It's definitely their first adult relationship, it's a different thing than Rory/Jess

Well good to hear. I just finished 708. First LL interaction in a while.

Now I dont like Rj and never will. However, Rorys relationship with Jess and Logan took place in different time periods so its easy to appreciate them

I kind of liked Logan and Rory's fight in 708. I'm glad Logan was mad and told her he was mad. I thought the way they dealt with it was again...adult. Their relationship seems more adult than Lorelai's relationships at times

Exactly. I kinda of wish they left 618 out of it. It wasn't a particularly nice ending for Rory/Jess. :\ It could've been worse though. I think if they left us with 421 that would have been worse, so can't complain too much.

I liked the way they worked things out in 7.08 too

Paris making Logan pay for the time he is at their apartment (in ep 709)
Logan's all "I'm happy to pitch in." Gosh that girl never stops.

Silly Paris.

I enjoyed certain parts and moments of S7. It was frustrating to watch as an LL fan since CL were together. But there were some good LL scenes.

And I do think RJ could have worked as an adult couple. They just needed to get on the same page.

Michel is absolutely killing me in this episode about his dog's funeral (don't get me wrong - I'm going to lose it when my pup goes, but he's just too much). I'm laughing so much..

Logan was the PERFECT boyfriend while Richard was in the hospital. Like whoa.

Oh, I agree!! They had terrible timing. If Rory wasn't in love with Logan in S6, then Jess would have been ready. They would have been perfect together. Just bad timing.

I was always on Luke's side given how Lorelai ended things and then jump to be with Chris. It just didn't feel right after 6 years of Lorelai telling every one how she was over him, especially after the S2 ending.

Luke was there through it all and new how upset Chris made Lorelai and was never there for Rory without wanting to be in Lorelai' pants.

Feels weird to be talking about this again after so many years... wouldn't L&Ls kids be in school by now?

I will never get the appeal of Rj. They never had good couple moments in s3. It was always making out and arguing. However, that's just me.

I don't feel Rj knows each other as adults so it wasen't just Logan. They were living in two different places and its hard to have a long distant realationship with a person your reconnecting.

The thing I dislike the most about S7 was Lorelai's relationship with Chris. Like most of you here I thought it was out of character for Lorelai. It was clear Luke was the love of her life and somehow it felt like she was settling with Chris. I didn't like it. Glad that story line didn't last the entire season.

I think I loved Logan the most in S7 and the least during S6. He could be so cruel and he could have supported Rory more during her time away from school. He knew she would only get truly happy with an education. He needed to remind her that she had what it took. He should have stood up for her more. Jess did exactly that...in just 1 episode. That's why I truly think he's the only boyfriend who really got Rory. He knew what she needed.

Don't get me wrong...I loved Logan and I appreciated their relationship. It's so much fun to discuss with people who have different opinions. Every opinion is valid and true.

I agree. Lorelai and Chris were hard to believe in S7 for me. I am watching these episodes so fast, so I don't remember the details like I should, but when Lorelai was leaving Rory voicemails saying that this marriage seems sudden but at the same time it wasn't, I really felt like I was missing something. Their marriage did not feel 20 years coming to me. They haven't been building toward that. In fact they go a year at a time without any contact at all (and probably more than that). Chris was rarely around for most of that time... so it just seemed like a lie. I mean, did Lorelai even really forgive him for all he's done or not done? I don't know. They didn't take the time to figure that out. Like Lorelai said, she jumped. It's unfortunate that Chris was her rebound, that was the last person that should have been her rebound.

I watched through episode 716 this weekend. I couldn't stop watching (isn't that the best feeling when watching a show? ). I'm sad about what's going on with Logan right now. I think he lost about $3 million of his own money, but I wonder how much of his dad's? I wonder how much he has left? Is he still rich? :\ Although it was super disappointing that his answer was to run off to Vegas for a couple of days, I know he and Rory will get through this hurdle. They've been through worse. I do worry about Logan though.

Luke and Lorelai are kind of like the old days again - Luke coming to the hospital while Richard was there was a huge throwback for me. He dropped everything to be there for her. No hesitations, no questions. It didn't matter. That's how he used to be.

fox24 It's impossible to say how Rory and Jess would be together in their 20s, but in my opinion, they would totally work. The only thing Jess was missing in high school was maturity and seriousness about his future. Rory didn't care what he did as long as he was working toward something and didn't bail on her. I do believe that the Jess we saw in S6 was ready for Rory. That Jess wouldn't bail on her, and that Jess already was something. A published author, and a mature man. That's all Rory needed from him. The rest was already there. She loved him so much, and supported him.

Logan was not cruel. I think he tried to support and he took a year to go to the South Pacific. He knew Rory would be back at her own pace. I am sorry cruel is a really strong word. Logan never hurt her on purpose and hardly ever yelled at her. He made mistakes but come on cruel

Rory got far in her career through Logan. He helped her become editor and the evil internship led to a job. She also got the Obama job through Logan's friend

I wouldn't call Logan cruel either. He had some bad moments in S6, but none of them had to do with Rory dropping out of school, in my opinion. Could he have encouraged her more? Sure, probably. But he was just trying to be supportive, and he did know that she would go back to school. He probably would've gotten more involved if he felt the need. Contrary to what some people may think (not you guys) I do believe that Logan had nothing to do with her dropping out in the first place, which is really most important. He didn't want that for her.

The worst thing Logan's probably done (at least through 716) is yell at her in the bar after Jess left. And sleep with the girls while on a break, of course. Break or not, that wasn't cool. (I actually don't even understand that one - the whole time they were on a break he was trying to get her back? When did he have time to sleep around? Oh well)

Speaking of these two, I thought it was adorable that Rory felt she had to tell Logan about her mini crush on the TA. Really cute of her, and Logan was great about it.

Logan didnt try to win Rory back until January they didnt talk for three weeks so he thought they were broken up. It wasen't right but he was not trying to be cruel. He told Rory in 6.11 that he convinced himself but he didnt want to be a boyfriend but he couldn't move on emotionally
