**Anja** 10-11-2015 07:23 AM

I guess there wasn't..
Thanks for making one, it looks good..

Lindsay 10-11-2015 07:47 AM

Thanks for the guide! Yeah I believe this is the only S2 thread.

Alexa 10-11-2015 01:22 PM

i watched 201. In general it was kind of a boring episode imo but it felt similar to season 1, like a continuation, not a new season so i like that.

i didnt like all the wedding stuff and thought it was very fast so i wasn't happy with it.

richard was a total jerk in how he was talking to dean. i dont blame rory for going off on him.

episode 2 was a lot better, i loved the lorelai and emily argument. thats my favorite thing about the show, how real it can be with the family relationships.

dean was once again whiney. he never seems happy.

luke watching lorelai with max was sad.

Lindsay 10-13-2015 09:28 AM

I always felt bad for Luke when he saw them together.

Talula78 10-13-2015 03:33 PM

I cried sad shipper tears in that moment! :bawl:

Alexa 10-13-2015 11:16 PM

episode 3 was a fun one, i liked seeing the girls go out together.

it was sad seeing lorelai realize that she didnt really love max but it had to happen. they weren't right for one another and I'm glad she realized it. and i understand hw she felt. a part of me would miss just having me and my daughter in the house too!

on her call with chris she had more chemistry i felt. i really do like chris this time around. i was surprised he wasnt more upset about the wedding though considering the last time we saw him he wanted to get back together with lorelai.

luke making the arch for her was adorable. every episode there is something cute for L/L i love the build up.

the ending at the stop light was hilarious.

episode 4 was great, i love how good of a friend sookie is, despite making the whole cake.

i loved seeing luke all happy after he heard that the wedding was off.

episode 5
.... JESS!

he's such a punk at first but i am going to love watching him grow. i didnt like that luke just let him smoke.

his interaction with rory was great right off the bat, so much chemistry there. and love how he immediately opened up to her. the ending scene with them was just great. imo they have so much more chemistry then she ever had with dean!

luke was a big jerk in the episode too. but I'm glad he came around. pushing jess in the lake was hilarious.

episode 6:

i really liked seeing chris this episode, its great that he seemingly has his life together! i love that he got the dictionary for rory and also a car. and i am glad he has a new g/f.

the ending scene with lorelai and her mom was so sweet.

Talula78 10-15-2015 07:40 AM

Wow! You're plowing right through those episodes, Alex! I, too, love the LL build up! :sigh:  It's that slow burn that really turns into something profound later on.

You THINK Chris has it all together. He puts on a good show, that's for sure.

And I was SO pleased to see Luke push Jess in the water, he deserved it! It made for a pretty hilarious moment in the show, too.

I love that moment.

Luke pushing Jess into the lake was great.

Alexa 10-15-2015 03:39 PM

yeah it was hilarious. we haven't seen much jess since, i want more!

i am going fast jen! I'm loving this rewatch.

episode 7 was okay, not my favorite but i did like lorelai telling luke not to date the hilton mom! and i also liked rory telling off the headmaster and him actually listening to her. he's so condescending!

fox24 10-16-2015 11:19 AM

I am not Jess biggest fan but I love the lake scene

Alexa 10-16-2015 12:23 PM

episode 8 was okay. i liked seeing the inn owner but I'm tired of lorelai's freak outs. sometimes she acts like a teenager.

it sucks they weren't sold the other inn but i am glad they are deciding to move forward.

finally we got another jess/rory scene :yay: and love how they talk to each other.

Talula78 10-16-2015 04:17 PM

I'm jealous of your rewatch! Lately, I haven't had time for one cuz I'm trying to plough through The Good Wife so I can catch up & start deleting the new epis off the DVR. You're talking about scenes & things I barely remember, it's been so long since my last rewatch.

Alexa 10-16-2015 10:08 PM

i dont think i have ever rewatched! its almost like watching for the first time again. ( i mean i saw random episodes with my sister when they aired, then i watched the entire series once but that was years ago! maybe like 2008 or something)

so yeah, this has been so fun!

episode 9 was amazing, i loved all the stuff with tristan and rory. he was a jerk but he had a heart and its sucks we didnt get more closure on him. but it was fun. i love chad.

Lindsay 10-16-2015 10:28 PM

I love the LL scene at the end of that ep.

Talula78 10-17-2015 11:31 AM

Yeah, I kinda was interested in seeing where his character would go? Oh well.

That's so cool to rewatch it after so much time has passed, it IS like discovering the show all over again. I'm enjoying reading your thoughts, so keep 'em comin!

Alexa 10-17-2015 03:06 PM

good, thanks! its nice to be able to talk about it and know people actually are reading it. lol.

i definitely am discovering new things. there is a lot i forgot about.

episode 10:
"do they not understand we are unapologetic mockers?"

 classic line.

great episode though, love christmas themed episodes and the snow puts me in such a good mood!

i do love the rory/paris friendship and how rory can soften her.

jess iS a jerk yes, but i feel like deep down he has so much more to him and i like how rory can bring that out.

the l/l sleight ride was uber cute. so was the r/j one.

fox24 10-18-2015 06:48 AM

I have a love and hate relationship with brace bridge dinner I like the family stuff but I hate it's a start of Dean/jess/rory love triangle which annoyed for many reasons

Alexa 10-18-2015 04:44 PM

i like it. its a lot more interesting. just dean/rory bored me so much in season 1.

episode 11:

lorelai is so dang stubborn sometimes. i understand why she doesnt want help from her mom but jeez sometimes she needs to swallow her pride a bit! her mom co signed the loan and lorelai thinks she wants something. sometimes its just sad.

and rory getting annoyed with lane being a cheerleader was lame too. she should have been more supportive if its something lane wanted to do. I'm glad she came around in the end.

it was sweet that luke offered to help lorelai too.

Lindsay 10-18-2015 09:11 PM

I wish Lorelai would have just let her parents help in the first place. But that's who she is. She needs to be independent.

Alexa 10-20-2015 10:33 AM

episode 12:

wow richard was obnoxious this episode.

epsiode 13:

loved this episode, loved the whole basket theme and luke bidding on lorelai :). that was so cute.

the rory/jess thing was messed up. rory really shouldn't have gone with jess! and i think that should have been a clear warning sign to dean. but he did kind of overreact. if he had any trust in rory at all he wouldn't have flipped out. but they were so cute and then rory calling him at the end was really adorable.

sookie/jackson was a little rushed imo, they haven't been dating that long but oh well.

episode 14:

this was an okay episode. i found sheri to be really annoying and christophers reaction to lor's confession said a lot about his feelings. its obvious she really hurt and he's just trying to force himself to move on.

215

love love loved this episode. lorelai's hatred of jess bothers me. he brought he bracelet back because he realized how important it was to rory and lorelai doesnt realize it. its annoying.

with that said, her and jess have so much more in common then her and dean.

216:

loved seeing lorelai and emily have some mother/daughter time, that was cute.

jess coming by to see rory. and it wasn't lukes idea!

dean is so dang uptight but i will try not to repeat myself anymore.

Alexa 10-25-2015 01:32 PM

sorry to double post but this page was lost.

217 was a fun episode, i loved seeing lorelai be there for Luke.

Rory/Jess banter was fun. She likes him so much.

Talula78 10-25-2015 05:53 PM

Don't worry, Alex, you didn't double post because your last post was made on the 20th. ;) I haven't replied because I've just picked up my re-watch the other night and I'm only on the 3rd episode of season 2. Once I get caught up with you, I'll be able to comment more. :D

I just finished that 3rd episode and I loved the heightened drama between Lorelai & Emily over Lorelai & Max's wedding! I kinda see it from both sides, but it's still frustrating to see their lack of communication & pettiness between them.
