My big Gilmore theory was that Rory could have very possibly ended up with Tristan, had he returned, since he was present since day 2. I still stand by the part that if he was around during the college years, he'd get Logan's role.
However, knowing this is/always was the ending, thank god he never came back (and thank god ASP didn't write S7). That would have been a devastating ending. |

I just watched the last episode that Tristan was on during season 2. It was so obvious that Tristan still was into Rory. I liked her smile after he called her Mary. Tristan was cracking me up during the episode with his dialogue. I forgot how funny he was. I wish the writers had given them a chance. I saw the episode the other day when Tristan liked Rory and she was trying to help Paris
