That would be a cool twist. I always thought Tristan could be a good solution to this scenario- familiar face, new story.
I've been wondering if they'll try to make Tristan more different from Logan, since so many have always believed there's a resemblance. Character development is expected, but on a recast will be strange, and harder to suspend my disbelief that it's the same character. I guess they'll have him call her Mary to make sure we know it's supposed to be him (not that we know for sure yet). I have this fear that the guys from the past will either be pining for Gilmore's they can't have and/or settling with shallow stupid bimbos. A quick google search of Ashley Caple shows she's blond, which doesn't usually bode well for the women on this show. Sorry sorry sorry for the pessimism, I don't mean to bring anyone down from their revival high. |

OK even if Tristian is not in the remake I would love it if Paris menions Tristian name among the Chilton alumni and what are they up to now.
Like Paris mentions in shock to Rory that Tristian to get some huge medal of honor award for his military service after he graduated that Military school. __________________

I love when Chad talks about Tristan! There is still so much love for that character and the Trory pairing even though his time on GG was cut so painfully short. 😢

Still hoping the Tristan recast (and no, I don't hold on to hope that a different spelling means it's a different character) falls on the cutting room floor. Especially since it's likely a short role and CMM likes the character enough that he'd have done it again.
