I didn’t realize but my sister owns the book. I don’t know if I should read it first or see the movie first.

Amazon randomly gave me a $10 credit to buy a Kindle book so I got The Handmaid's Tale. I have the app on my phone so I can read it, since I don't actually have a Kindle.

I'm curious how it differs from the show.

The novel is soooooo good! I read it cover to cover in one afternoon. I’m curious to know the differences as well. I was thinking about reading it again because I’ve bought the sequel that just came out. I’m thrilled that The Testaments has made the short list for the Booker Prize.

the beginning is pretty similar to the beginning of the movie
