I hate Anna for that. I get that she is worried about April (which mother isn't?) but wanting to keep her daughter away from her own dad and possible step-mother is just stupid and selfish.

At some level I understood Anna. Luke never mentioned to her before that he wanted Lorelai to be a part of April's life aswell. Then, all of a sudden she hears that she slept with all those girls in the same room. For her, Lorelai was a complete stranger. I got that part. Especially since she was responsible for those other girls aswell. That said, she overreacted a bit towards Luke with the yelling part.

And when Lorelai visited her store she could have showed more understanding since Lorelai didn't seem like a maniac or something.

True, I get that part as well..
I actually really started hating her when she wanted to move to New Mexico (okay, I get that you want to be with your mother, when she's sick, and yeah of course you want your daughter with you), but then she wanted to take her away from Luke completely. And that was just unfair.
