| Jb-hifi is the way to go if you ask me! I just bought season 2 for the low price of $44.95. Gilmore gurus go Amy Sherman-Palladino and Dan Palladino, the husband-and-wife team that created and produced Gilmore Girls, are leaving Stars Hollow, announcing their plans to quit the show at the close of its sixth season. According to Variety, new US network The CW offered the couple $US5 million to run the show for two more years, but they were reportedly keen to make only one more season. "We were unable to reach an agreement with the studio and are therefore leaving when our contracts expire at the end of the season," the Palladinos said in a statement. | I really need to get a life because this news has depressed me all weekend. I agree it won’t be the same without ASP (DP, on the other hand, I can quite happily farewell). Do you think there’s any chance ASP would come back to write a series final (like KW) or is the split too messy for that? I remember reading somewhere that she hated the thought of someone else writing the last ep because Rory would end up a stripper or something. Booooo. | |||

| ASP leaving is so OOC for her, but it goes with the current season in the US ETA - I know this is not a GG thing but does anyone know when or IF ch 9 is going to air the last season of Enterprise? I don't want to go out and spend $100plus and find out they start airing it the next week.
