He was poorly conceived and thinly written before he left the show and then comes back later as a newly reformed wonder boy, I just don't buy it.

Like Dawson's Creek, a lot of people who watched Gilmore Girls as a teen, have re-watched the series as adults. Now they are looking at Jess with the rose coloured glasses off and now see him for the total jerk he is.

They now wonder; what in the world did I ever see in that moron.

I just feel that kind of character in this day and age wouldn't hold as much allure. Let's face it, he sexually assaulted Rory and in NO WAY is that okay.

Very true. That's why I wonder at the number of girls worship Jess. I just don't get it.

I don't get it, either. It physically hurts me to see women fawn over men like that, turning them into a renegade James Dean romantic archetype and ignoring their abusive behavior.
