Oh dear, I'm really gonna have to go back & rewatch the therapy sessions to see what letter you gals are referring to? Sorry, this old brain doesn't remember that bit.

I like that it was another loan situation, it makes Emily feel needed and the fact that it is in Richard's memory makes it even more special. No, they shouldn't need an excuse to see each other, but it nicely compliments the pilot so I see why Amy set it up that way.

I don't remember which episode it was in but Emily brings up getting a cruel letter from Lorelai on her birthday and she's like, "I didn't write that." Lorelai has no idea what Emily is referring to and neither do I. They fight for a little and then it isn't brought up again so we were all left wondering the point of it. Why bring it up if there's no resolution to that specific problem. We have no idea what it says or who actually wrote said letter.

Ah, I see. Hmm, maybe it came from a deleted bit? Or perhaps it was purposefully put in so that we are in Lorelai's shoes and question it alongside her? Sometimes things get brought up in therapy that one person remembers because they were hurt by it and the other didn't recall it because it didn't signify any importance?

Yeah exactly.

ASP said it wasn't from Lorelai in an interview with Ausiello. We knew that, though.

I know that not everything can be resolved, but I hate that they left us hanging. And that Emily believes it was from Lorelai.

I like their scene in Fall when Lorelai asks Emily to use Luke's franchise money for the Dragonfly. And she tells her "You look very happy". It's just a nice acknowledgement from Emily. I think she's happy that her daughter is happy.

It should have been something that was resolved since Emily was 'accusing' Lorelai

Oh and it cracked me up when Lorelai came in and Emily was like "The wedding is off - again"
